Why don't they offer 2.4L, cause this is basically the same as the Galant, which here, we have 2.4L and 3.8, and 3.8 are usually used as Taxi here, and 2.4L are for private or Rental.

Not sure about Australia, but I heard from a engineer friend working in TMA, they are testing the possibility of placing a 5.7V8 i-force in a Camry, so that they can compete with Dodge Charger
