i never seen 890 before..what is the operating time of it?

891 operate nearly whole daylight time

It's rare to have local route on 71, 72, 73, all of them are express, local are only for saturday or special occation.

This is usually depends on traffic situation, but at eastside route is rare.

Sorry I mean sunday, but dun let those X fool you sometimes the driver drives on local route but still with X, cause to alot of Seattle lights, X means nothing to them.  it's not mendatory to display X on these buses.

Not entirely related.  In London, because of its interesting history, there are a few different types of LIMTED STOP routes.

For instance, during the 60s when London Transport were trying to get rid of their Trolley bus service by routemaster (or diesel buses in a sence).  The 600 series was bought in as a 'faster-than-trolley-bus' service.  This was carried on until now.  Now, the only survivor in the 600-series is the Uxbridge main line, Rte 607.

There were also routes that used to operated by The Greenline (bus service 'just' outside London). The greenline provide a sort of semi-coach services in the outskirt of London and some inter-urban service in Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Herefordshire etc.  There are quite a few  Greenline routes still existing in London. e.g. the 724, 757, 797.  The solely ex-Greenline route which passed to the hand of TfL was rte 726.  The roue was cut short from Dartford to Bromley and was cancelled and replaced by route X26 earlier this year.

And lastly, the obvious X-prefix routes which I will not be spending much time on talking about.  There were still a few X-prefix routes doing the peak journeys, like the X68 and the X91 (opt by coaches) and ofcos the withdrawn by ever lasting, RM operated, X15.

Prior to my previous post regarding on Route X26.  I have now attached a picture of the Scania coach for the route.  As you can see, unlike the route 607, 12X, this so-called express route does not advertise itself very much.
