The cost of buying second hand jets are cheaper...
Also, normally a jet could fly for nearly 30yrs or above... But many airlines retire them from services due to economical issue and other problem 10-15yrs after it entry services and replace them by newer jets...
Since there are so many good condition second hand jets around... Unless there are some special requirement... It is not as necessary for cargo airlines to operate as many first hand jets...
That is also the reon why you could find so many DC-9F/B727F still flying in good condition at the moment and even DC-8F with some smaller cargo compary... |
