Metropolitan is not an integral, it has a Scania BR111DH chassis with a MCW body bolted on top of it. It is not even close to a Titan from an integral design point of view.

Indeed Metropolitan is based on BR111DH running units, but as far as I know the chassis supplied by Scania is not a complete one, i.e. only consists of front & rear sub-frames, while the body designed & built by MCW bears the load and holds the sub-frames together. It is not a traditional "body on chassis" bus. |
