May I ask...how you can make sure that is not what he was asking?
I don't think "Where this Bigbus" is English, neither does the question carry a verb nor the noun and pronoun ag ...
Yes, but afterall, this is not a grammar school, is it? It will be just as difficult for me to enforce
rule 16 if someone put up something which is utterly rubblish in grammar. On the other hand,
if anyone have doubt on the post, they have the right to make a query to the poster to explain
what they mean as well.
I am not defending member 89B by any means, and in fact, it is beyond my responsibility to
ask him not to post in English in the future, just because his english is, let me put it kindly, poor,
even though I have considered this action for quite a while. The same goes for Yorum as well,
even I accept my comment to Yoram was harsh but I do not believe it is unfair either.
My position is, I do not intend to set any ground rule on what language should be used on B5.
However, should I suggest that members, esp. HK-based, if you are not comfortable to post
in english, please, for the sake of , don't do so. And for overseas-based members who cannot
read chinese, you don't have to reply these posts anyway, and if you think the post in intelligible,
please ask for clarifications and I do not believe anyone here is unwilling to help at all. As said,
I do not intend to enforce this here at all, but I will keep an eye and review the situation in the
coming months and consider alternative actions when required.
I hope this will clarify the issue.
