LDN: Route 159- routemaster last week adverts

Dear All,

On Friday, we say good bye to routemaster on route 159. it also see the end of regular operation of conductors and open platform buses in London after 177 years.
[the heritage route operation on the 9 &15 remain RM, but this is not regarded as completely normal operation- just heritage routes!]

Several events are taking place, and board members are advised to visit www.lots.org.uk to find the most up to date details.

In their last week, the remaining 36 routemasters at Brixton garage, which operates the 159, gained 'heritage' adverts.

Here I show RM1145 at Kennington [this bus used to serve route 38] - offside view, nearside view of RML2521 at Kennington Lane [notice the external condition of the bus], and, finally, RML2577 near Marks and Sparks and Xmas decorations!

Kennington Road,  Near Lambeth North.  Closest Tube is Lambeth North or Oval.
