M&S food department staffs don’t know stock notation!

Stock notation means sell the old products first before the later or new arrival products. They often apply in supermarkets and department stores.

When I was working in the food warehouse today, I can find some of the food and drink products are already expired such as 2 cases of sparkling water which the best before date were 1 Dec 05, 1 case of crisp which was expired last week at the bottom. The other products especially most of the crisps will be expired within this month, but some of them just store in the warehouse for 2 or 3 weeks! I don’t know why crisps will meet the best before date earlier than cake. Dear me, may be some of the staffs are lazy! The only solution is to take those stocks to the shop floor as soon as possible.

Seems to be no one except me is really concerned about the best before date of products or even stock notation matter in this store.

I can’t imagine this department store I'm working got this problem in the warehouse.
However, I don't know what is the true in other supermarkets.
