Wright Commuter+othr

Hi,

Went to photograph the Wright Commuter B7RLE's today, seems only 1 in service for today!

Lots of other photographs, including a megabus.com branded B10MA working local services in dumfries!!

Also has some excellant night shots at Gateshead Interchange, I would really recommend to anyone visiting the area to try it out, specially with the days getting longer by the week!

recalling my good memories in the NorthEast
Did you take the 685 again by the way?
Time passed so quick,
it is a year since the flooding in Carlisle,
so many buses are being replaced now,
does the Wright bodied B6LE still in Carlisle?

The first impression for a passenger on the Commuter is strange I think,
with the long front overhang to accomdate the wheelchair,
it strikes to get a balance between a 'coach' and easy access
but I don't feel its concept would be get popular among operators.

No that B6LE has gone to Liverpool as far as I know.

Ya, I took the 685 again, they have a different 2 coaches now, B10M's again but these ones have working heaters and capable of more than 60kmh   Do you remember the freezing cold? XDD

Pretty much the entire fleet at carlisle is new, lots of Pointer2 Darts and some refurbished B10M Alexander PS

I worked it out that it was exactly 1 year and 1 week since I was last in Carlisle (22nd Jan05)
