LDN: new Oyster all over advert bus

Hi All,
London Buses decided to use 20 buses for advertising the Oyster card [from the same team that designed the Octupus in HK!]. Most of those buses should appear in South and East London, where the Oyster is not so popular.
In 2004, we had several buses in an all over Oyster livery. this time, the advert is different, prices have changed, and the front of the bus remains red!
here is DW49 on route 264 in Croydon. note that this bus carried the 'BID' all over livery in the same basic blue colour.

Any reason that Oyster card is not so popular in South and East London? |

南區 和東區的地鐵線少,主要靠火車連接市區. 但因火車站仍只賣傳統的纸磁票Travelcard,不賣Oyster. 故用Oyster的人較少
有錯請補充

I don't know if I can apply to all English people but most of them are not too sensitive to small price. So even when Oyster is cheaper on bus and underground in single fare. Still it might not able to attract all London commuter to use Oyster, if they only pay as they go.
Just my point of view

The problem with Oyster is that it is only available on services run by TfL- London Buses, the croydon tram and the London Underground network- but NOT on train services.
South London is mainly served by Trains, and there is very little underground presence, so, in practice, the Oyster can be used only on the buses and the croydon trams. most commuters use the trains and not the buses!
People who buy season tickets for buses [i.e. one week, one month etc buspass] have been switched to Oyster card already.
