美國人的本土文化係 "一味要大", 大就=型, 大就=舒服; 要舒服就軟避震。燒油方面成日以為自己有石油 (或者出去 "打" D 石油番來), 就唔駛慳住使。
在大陸開過 Buick Regal, 過彎快D都反: Buick GL8 "商務車", 燒油簡直用 "恐怖" 來形容, 拍得住一部巴士。20L/100km, 即係約HK$2.9/KM。問你怕未! |

ha, but 80% of Amerian cars now have similar mileage with EU and Japanese car la bor...in fact,Chevrolet have better mileage then Toyota Corolla lei 35 mpg vs. 30 mpg.

I like big American cars too lei...especially my parents Chrysler Pacifica, (E Class chassis, MB engine, and quite good mileage, it's like driving in the cloud lei....) and ford freestyle is not bad too lei (Volvo S 80 chassic, 3000cc engine, and 6/7 seats configuation,and quite good handling) in fact, both 500/ freestyle is popular in Korea lei..

GL8, isn't it only have 3000cc, my uncle got a similar van (Pontiac Montana) and dosen't have such bad mileage wor...is it something wrong with your van.

haha, most American cars are now EU engineering la, that's why they sell better lor, those oil thirsty once you talk about only consists of 1-2% of total US made carmarket, most people buy good mileage once, even Ford, Chevrolet (including Impela, Pontiac G6) have great mileage..maybe they are not popular in HK jie..but other parts of the world buys them, such as Taiwan, Japan, and Korea.
BTW: Dodge charger/ magmun, and 300c are basically MB running gear, also..Toyota 4 runner, tundra, Nissan pathfinder, titan, has worst mpg then alot of US made truck..Japanese car are not that great too..

不要以為所有美國車都大食。大家不得不留意：
1.美國車呢排都出左幾款hybrid
2.佢地好多車都用左fuel management system(？？)，即係V8偈在慢速時只開4個汽缸。
呢樣野反而唔多覺歐、亞既車用 |
