全部Metropolitan上層車尾上面都有凸起嗰件嘢,求其搵張Metropolitan嘅相都會見到,絕對唔係乜嘢香港版獨有。而嗰件嘢係用嚟畀引擎室通風(為隔音而用密閉式引擎室),同Metrobus車尾鯊魚鰓嘅功用一樣。
要散熱就當然係靠兩邊尾轆前面各一個水箱去做,部引擎又唔係風冷。Metropolitan過熱係有,不過主要唔係引擎而係波箱,因為個波箱heat exchanger唔夠用而又成日用一波。英國有巴士公司試過改用Voith嘅heat exchanger,問題即刻迎刃而解;P
Metropolitan最主要死因係車身骨架易生鏽,而且引擎cc大、波箱得兩個波、車身重(係全車鋼骨所以重,點會話擺個引擎通風口喺車頂就會重?)導致食油,倫敦嗰164部只係行咗八年就退晒。

唔一定,雖然StreetDeck似乎得Benz引擎,但Wright有其他車款用康明斯,例如Borismaster:

而且賣嚟香港要推埋冷氣嘅話,肯定唔會用標準版嘅四缸Benz引擎,橫掂都係要大改,用ISB6.7都唔奇,不過如果係ISL9就有啲過分。

Metropolitan is not an integral, it has a Scania BR111DH chassis with a MCW body bolted on top of it. It is not even close to a Titan from an integral design point of view.

Indeed Metropolitan is based on BR111DH running units, but as far as I know the chassis supplied by Scania is not a complete one, i.e. only consists of front & rear sub-frames, while the body designed & built by MCW bears the load and holds the sub-frames together. It is not a traditional "body on chassis" bus.
