Wright 九巴應該唔會再諗,皆因 Wright 車身重,
載重量多即係耗油量亦多,宜家九巴以慳油為大前提,
所以應該唔會考慮,除非 Wright 車身可以減重......... ...

They will have to wait until the "Gemini-lite" to come along. It is being developed on the request of First and first delivery is expected later this year.

Not MAN, but ADL did try a EGR Catepillar engine a couple of years before, albeit on the 2-axle Trident. It is actually not a secret that ADL is hoping to add an EGR engine into its range.

ADL had just provided E200, E300 and E400 bodyworks for MAN and Scania
So I think there is not necessary for ADL to add an option of EGR engines on its chassic....

That is one of their strategy (the same applies for Wrightbus), but it is not as profitable as putting a EGR engine on the E200Dart and, in particular, 2-axle Trident chassis. This would have given them a greater exposure on their product range - interesting point to note is that is exactly what Optare is doing in this product range.

九巴買車唔會搵死一間供應商, 搵到另一間可以抗衡 ADL 咪可以唔搵 Wright 囉 (如果佢真係唔想買 Wright 的話)
