[Singapore]

I am going to visit Singapore at the end of Feb this year, especially wishing to have a ride for the Volvo Olympian their last year of services. May I ask:
In which district can these Volvo Olympian be most esaily found? Especially any bus terminal or bus stops can be recommended?
Is SBS Transit using a fixed vehicle for a running schedule or distirbuting undecided vehicle to routes on daily basic?
Is there any website I can find a whereabout for routes everyday, or a list of vehicle of running schedule?
On which serving routes of Olympians you will suggest for a fun riding? Especially want to ask if Olympian can be easily found on route 9, 13, 14, 23, 86, 251?
Many thanks for your assistance!

1. Looking at the VO3X that are left, Boon Lay Int seems to be the best place to go as there are many of them under SLBP and usually would be in service as compared to those in BNDEP which tend to run around on other services.
2. SBST uses fixed deployment system, although buses may be on different services due to different circumstances (eg maintenance etc). For the list of permanant services, please see : http://sgwiki.com/wiki/Volvo_Olympian_3-Axle_(Batch_3)#Deployments
3. The industrial services (193, 251, 255) are good if you are able to find VOs on service during off peak hours as they are much quieter in terms of passenger loading. If not 174 is not bad too, linking Chinatown, Orchard Road to Boon Lay.
PS: You can use IRIS or any next bus arrival apps to find buses which are not wheelchair accessible as a guide to locate these buses on service.
Hope that helps.

Great thanks to all for your great information! I had checked out all these info. seriously, and find that the Olympian can be most easily found on Route 181,193,251,254 and 255 (All depart from Boon Lay),
also if you are lucky enough, they can be found on Route 9,23,52,86,132,163 and 198 as well.
Currently, my inital plan:
1, I think Boon Lay Int. will be a must go place on my list, I would like to ask if the Olympian there can also found on off-peak hoursand on sunday?
2, The Route 9 (depart form Bedok Int.)toward the airport freight terminal seems fun, I had decided to ride as well, hoped the Olympian(SBS9661J ) will be on the route mostly~(OR it just operate on peak hour?)
3, I would also like to ride the Olympian on a Expressway, Route 23, 52, 86, 45, 154, which on route you think it will be eailer to catch a Olympian?
4, If I have more spare time, I would go to one more terminal to search for an Olympian,
Toa Payoh (for route 8, 28, 157, 163)/ Tampines (for route 8, 28, 23)/ Ang Mo Kio (for route 86, 25, 45)/ Hougang Ctrl (for route 165, 132, 74),
Which one do you think is a better choice?
5, Lastly, I think Singapore buses do not use any hilly road and climb up mountains (place like Stanley, Sai Kung in HongKong), am I right?

Thanks for introducing the apps Iris, had tried, quite nice!
But if I am correct, the wheel chair unaccessible buses not only includes the Olympian, but also some B10TL and B10M and some older Benz? (Anymore?)

1. No definite answer. Best to check iris before heading down.
2. I am not sure on what shift it is on. But please note that Changi Airport Cargo Terminal is a Restricted Area and passengers without a valid Airport Pass are not allowed to enter. You will have to alight at the pass office and wait for the bus to come out from the Cargo Terminal to continue your journey.
3. Of the 5 services, 86 seems to be the shortest and also has a short expressway sector, so it would be the easiest to locate. 52 also serves the expressway but I think the bus is a S Shift bus (only peak hours).
4. Hougang Central would be better. Sv 8 typically will not use VO during weekends. BTW Sv 45 does not serve Ang Mo Kio Int, it serves Ang Mo Kio Depot, which is in Yio Chu Kang.
5. No.
On your question about Non-WAB on iris, yes. B10M, B10TL and SMRT old Bendy buses are also listed as non wheelchair accessible. But if you know the depots that the services are under, you would know that some of the services, eg those from Boon Lay under SLBP only have VO3X. Sv 28 has some B10TLs, Sv 132 & 165 has B10Ms running as well. Good to note that Sv 8 & 23 are not WAB Services, so all buses are marked as non-WAB.

I just visited sg last month and i went to Boon Lay BI on weekday non peak hr(around 10:45)
I stayed around an hour and saw 5 VO
Concur, but don't be frustrated and I am pretty sure that you can shoot what you want

Many thanks for your useful advices,
May I also know what is the last stop that a ordinary passenger (without permission) can ride up to?
