Officially, the trade should be completed by September but who knows if there'll be any lucky ones sneak past the paint shop

Mind you, there's no official East London livery.  Its all done upon the TfL standard, hints, RED!!

I wonder whether this bus will stay with the new company or will get transfered elsewhere

Stagecoach London was sold to an australian bank. to be very precise, two stagecoach comapnies were sold: east London Ltd and Selkent Ltd. The east london operation covers operation north of the river Thames, and Selkent the operation south of the borders.

as far as I know the this distinction between the operations north and south of the river would remain- i.e. you will see buses in red with stickers for 'East London' and red buses with 'Selkent' stickers- every much like London Central and London General which are part of the Go Ahead group and are jointly managed [incl vehicles interchange].

the exact livery and new or old logos? [east london and selket had their own logos 15 years ago] good question- still to be decided by the company. at the moment buses coming out of the paintshop are in all over red. three buses had the old stickers - two verrsions of east london and one sticker for selkent p applied, but this has not been decided upon.

in the meanwhile, the stagecoach in london stickers are being removed from the fleet.

I doubt if the spirit of London will be transferred to anywhere not London, but who knows.

AFAIK, the sale would include the commerical services as well.  Further more, I'm more concerning that if "the use of" Leyton is sold where would these boys based?  Maybe park thm on the street like this??

They acquired the operation as a whole according to Bloomberg.

The Spirit of London is certainly part of east london bus company, and will be sold alongside everything else. also it will be joined by 10 other similar E400s [but with Euro4 spec engine] on route 61- down in Selkent.
In addition, for one year, the new two companies would be getting some logistical support from the Stagecoach group.

The Megabus operation: The Leyton alocation has already been reduced, and will be withdrawn alltogether when the sale is completed.
