ex NWFB DA1 in the UK

Here is ex DA1 [from NWFB via Ensign] seen today in Chelsford, on a shuttle service between the station and an event. the bus is owned by Fourways, and the photos were taken by Kevin Smith and not by myself. many thanks to kevin for allowing me to use his photo on this board.

as you see, the bus has not been modified  to a large extent since withdrawl by NWFB.

since the bus have been "frozen" in Ensignbus.

Yoram,do you have any news for other DAs'?

i saw DA1 have install the wheel cab at the rear axles  

any more DA start service yet at UK? like DA10?

What large modification made in the DA?

In such kind of melting weather, DA is very suitable for England and the mainland Europe.

Dear All,

as far as we can see, no modifications were made to the air cond system of ex DA1, but, over time, the engine would have to be replaced to comfirm with the Euro standard.
The bus is normally used for school contracts , rail replacement services or private hire .

Ensign sold some more DAs olympians in the past few months: here is a list going back almost a year. as you can see, the ex HK buses are not selling fast!

The Mullaneys ex DAs can be seen- during school terms on the watford school contracts - but the schools are not accessible to the public, and the services - 84x [842 etc] have to be seen or photographed from the roadside.
