F601 RTC was the first of the batch of Bristol City Line and first enter service in June 1989. The bus transferred to First Wyvern in June 2000 together with F602/3 RTC.

F601 RTC didnt stay for long and finally the bus transferred to First Leicester in November 2003.

First Bristol, the former owner of F601RTC has no longer operate Leyland Lynx. The last Lynx F617 RTC 62617 withdrawn in April 2006 and the bus was later sold to local bus dealer- Munden, for scrap!
