This bus has a new owner or what? Coz in April, the bus was still in Stagecoach Livery |

The bus is not in stagecoach livery; when delivered [and I rode and photo'ed the bus on it's first day] it had a blue skirt, and a stagecoach logo, which was the final version of Stagecoach in London livery.
Stagecoach was sold to an investment bank; It is now known as 'East London Buses Ltd' , and has two trading names: Selkent for services south of the river Thames [PD TL & TB garage] and 'East London' for the operation in the north east of London.
The livery will be 100% red, and buses south of the river would have stickers 'Selkent' and buses in east london would have stickers saying 'east london'.
those stickers would apply very soon.
18500 would go for modification soon: the blindbox will change from electronic to normal London Type blindbox [modified version].
There are 10 E400 on order for Selkent for route 61; those would be Euro4 [185oo is Euro3 engine] and would be all over red.
regards
Yoram |
