Anyway, anyone who expected this thing to look anything like the Omnicity double decker
I posted the other day are in for a big shock. The look is awful - how on earth it got through
the styling department I really do not know. The headroom at the back of the lower deck
was non-existance, and you bang your head on the roof everytime you leave those seats
at the back. In short, this bus, which is not even built in Portugal, but instead in Caetano's
factory in Waterlooville, south England, is utterly a pile of junk.

Quite unacceptable...

The side look is still OK, but how come the windscreens are SOOOOO small?
They make the bus looked like a "short guy", like the Comfort Delgro Eng.-bodied B9TL in Singapore.

Nice one NV58, I have just uploaded on my fotopic album so I will post it a bit later.

The bus looks strange to me and in fact, headroom at the back of the lower deck is going to cause heavy criticisms from either KMB themselves and passengers, I don't think this is a success bodywork and KMB should consider some alternatives in future.

Agree!! On my way back from Duxford, I was kept thinking what this bus looks alike as the front was quite familiar to me, YES it is the DelGro B9!!

Can someone kindly post a DelGro B9 so we can compare them?

Just have a look here, the links of photos are still vaild.

The DelGro B9 still looked a bit better because its lower-deck windscreen is much more better (at least, bigger) than Caetano K95.

In contrast, the rear of K95 is nice. It's really cool!

This bus make me remember the head of Spacebus's SCANIA K124EB ED99 body, which is so round , but the body like the Alexander Enviro 500.

Thing is though, I have a gut feeling that the design is specified by KMB themselves.
You need to look no further than the Wright Explorer bodywork comparing to the Gemini
from the same bodybuilder, and you should see what I mean. What gets to me is the
gangway at the back seems to rise so much. I looked at my pictures again and kept
thinking it's probably even worse than the B7RLE! Somebody in the design house just
isn't thinking.

If I am honest, what KMB should look at is the N94UD which is so common here, and has
a comparatively better layout at the back (but still not good). Forget this Caetano bodywork
too. Get East Lancs or anyone else to build a body, just get rid of this ugly "masterpiece".
