如果是慶祝西方元旦尚可接受，但感恩節都慶
祝就好奇怪。
伊斯蘭教徒慶祝齋戒月是他們的事，但我們是
中國人，應該熱烈慶祝屬於自己的節日。
老實講，係尖咀搞秧歌大會都唔錯，政府有興
趣可以大搞。

中國是一個多民族國家，
回族人慶祝齋戒月也可以說是中國文化的一部份。
還有，
為什麼硬要「殲滅」西方的慶祝活動？
這好像與中國人兼容並包的特色背道而馳‥‥‥ |

Also, celebrating Thanksgiving are really common among Christian with US/ Canada decents......and my church in HK, 75-80% of people are Chinese American/ Chinese Canadian...therefore, to us Thanksgiving is not a foreign holiday to us at all.....I thought PRC claim to be multcultural...maybe that's another white lies that you guys try to tell us to make yourself look good....
Howabout this...what if people in US/ Canada ban you from celebrating Chinese New Year, then you will say that we stumble on your freedom. Btw, it's consider cultural/ ethnical discrimination in most state/ province to ban a culture to celebrate their holiday...(even schools in Oregon/ WA where I used to live cannot make us unexcused absents otherwise we can sue the school district..)

What is the problem here, are you discriminating American, Yes I am a fatty Chinese American. SO WHAT!!!!! I have my right to celebrate my own holiday, just like you have your right to celebrate your holiday at our soil...if you don't like it, then kick me out....
BTW: look up what thanksgiving holiday means before you speak.....
Oh wait...where are you from? People's Republic of China Washington DC...??????Well, let me report you to the dept. of Homeland security, I think that's consider spereading invasion message and creat bad relationship between PRC and US, well, that's actually an offense punishable by 50- life in prison....

就會大肆慶祝一番。

抗戰紀念日是中式還是英式的節日?
97 前, 港英係將八月的最後一個星期一, 以及之前的一個星期六, 定為重光紀念及相關的假期
那時官方在大會堂低座的紀念館和大會堂對出的紀念碑有儀式的
97 後, 由於重光紀念日被指帶有英國色彩, 所以和英女皇壽辰等一同廢去
改以八月第三個星期一為官方 "抗戰勝利紀念日"
但只係實行左兩年
1998年為左要一個佛誕
(當年本來只係討論改放勞動節)
就咁晌第二年將本來的國慶假期由兩天減為一天, 讓了給勞動節
抗戰假期就送左俾佛誕了
並將本來官式的紀念儀式改在 "重陽節" 進行
不過一班仍在港的退伍軍人, 則仍然保留在八月自行進行儀式

鬼叫政府限定公眾假期係得咁多日,
多幾日都唔得 
聽說將來又整多個孔子誕, 可能要在復活節減一日假,
對於我們打工一族想放長假去外遊又冇咁方便  |
