That was a ZF 5 Speed happened on 00:10 on the Valentines day. It was running dead from the garage to Warwick Uni for the last service 00:30 from Uni back to Cov. (12-15) Picture was taken on the Kenilworth Road. (The easiest route from the garage to the Uni)
Is that where the X17 goes? |

From what I have seen, very few buses manage to break the 55mph barrier except this one

How come your coach can cruising at 70mph???
I thought all the coaches are limited at 62.5mph (100kmh) |

No, not the old ones i.e. new in early 1990s and before. Those coaches (and even
some buses) can get up to 70mph or more - easily.
Only the buses and coaches built from mid-90s and after have factory-fitted limiters
to regulate their top speed to 62mph (or around 55mph for buses/coaches without
seat belts), which goes back to the discussion on the other thread. |
