A hugely confusing number - anyway, this is former S3BL291, one of the half opentop
ex-S3BL in service with Big Bus so far. Like the others, it has been re-engined with a
Cummins ISCe unit. Otherwise it still look as good as the original!

The number on the roof of the dart:
This is intended for helicopters; the code is a device to identify the vehicle from the air. it was put as a coordinated move by the police and TfL.
GAG identify the company [Go Ahead Group] and DPSE12 identify the vehicle. each company has a 3 letter code to identify it.
The plan is that all buses working on TfL owned routes would gain such a roof code. Bus fans in London do not really look at those code for a very simple reason: we do not have -like in HK- so many bridges and upper passage/walks to observe!
