First of all, it is a bad recording. No professional recording machine
is used, but a phone.

Secondly, I don't have a Home Return Permit with me, so I
alighted at Siu Hong Court.

The engine sounds powerful. The gearbox tune seems to have
a big different from an ATE of KMB, where the gear 2 mechanical
stage is short (1500 rpm -> 2000 rpm) when the bus is starting
with full power. Personally speaking, 8109 is better in terms of
construction skills when compared with 8102, where smaller
amount of cracking sound from the seat can be observed.

It is worth noting that 8109 and also 8108 are originally for New
World First Bus, but accidentally assigned to Citybus. They are the
only 2 in the Shenzhen Bay Express fleet with a ZF 6HP602C
gearbox. While a 3DNR selector is available on a standard NWFB
ZF-powered 550X (for example, 5502), a Voith-style DNR gear
selector is fitted on 8109, probably 8108 too.
