When you need a 10-11m mid-size bus in London, the obvious choice is just go and get another Dart, or now, E200Dart. However, Metrobus managed to complicate the matter by introducing two alternative types in its fleet. One is the Scania Omnitown, which is essentially a shortened version of the N94UB. Being a heavy duty chassis though, it is heavy - in fact it weighs almost 9.6 tonnes, almost the same as a Titan or a Metrobus!

It seems Metrobus really in favour of Scania,
but Dart probably comsumes much less fuel then Omnitown. |
