[GB] The Buchan Link

If you come in just by picking up the title of this post, and hope to see any ex-Citybus Olympians, then you are in for a surprise. Stagecoach Bluebird's Buchan Link network, which consist of four services operating between Aberdeen and the northern end of Aberdeenshire, have seen quite a mixed bag of vehicles actually.



The mainstay of the network are the Volvo B7R coaches, which has become Stagecoach's latest interurban workhorses for the last few years.





The B7Rs are supported by a few Neoplan Skyliners that came off the Megabus operations:



These type will soon be backed up by more coaches, in the form of the articulated B10MA coaches from Stagecoach West Scotland. These will of course replace the 136**s, or the former Citybus Olympians, which relegate as spares and school services. At the moment though, a few of them still make their way in normal services, although not on the Buchan Link routes.
