[GB] Enviro 300

Since appearing in the market in 2003, the Transbus/ADL Enviro 300 has gone through 2 facelifts during its production run. The first version should look fairly familiar to HK readers:



The "mark 2" look saw a slight restyle at the front which makes it, personally, the best looking of the trio:



Recent production runs, though, have seen the E300 becomes what basically looks like an enlarged E200Dart - which an interior which has absolutely no styling whatsoever.



Thank you ADL, I really think you have ruined a fairly decent bus.

I do look forward if ADL facelift its Enviro 500 for the second time like what Enviro 300 did, haha~

I agree with NV58 that the 2nd version look the best,  the windscreen on the last version is too small which doesn't fit the bus compare to the other two version which makes it look weird. Also the window like the 1st and 2nd version does help to make the bus look modern.

P.S: if the interior have no styling, does it mean that it has lost it main selling point because i remember seeing that the E300's main selling point is the seating layout in the bus??

Dear NV58, has ADL decided to end the production of the orginal E300 production?

What engine are they fitted with?

Cummins ISBe-220, according to the fact sheet of old Enviro300
It is available from ADL homepage
But ADL had not updated its homepage for a extremely LONG time
So no new information can be found from there

The seat layout hasn't change, afterall it is dictated by the chassis anywhere. The problem is the new E300's interior is it feels cheap. Some people will claim I am fussy, but you only need to look at these pictures to prove my point. Thisi is the old E300 interior:



and this is the latest one (but on the MAN 18.240 chassis)



Basically the inside of the E300 looks like a Pointer Dart, I shall put it this way.
