With proper planning and public transport service, car ownership and usage can be suppressed.
The average car ownership in the well off inner suburb is around one per family;
but the figure rises to two to three per family when it comes to the poor outer suburb.
The main reason is that inner suburb has much better public transport service and the living environment is more compact.

I have never denied that.
If public transport is adequately provided, people will tend to leave their cars at home but they still own a car.

都係加稅加到佢地放棄汽車為止啦
其它地方我唔知,但係香港根本無容納一部私家車的空間
無錯,係一部都嫌多
真係要渣車的話,請考慮唔爆車唔畀行出街的Car Sharing做法 |
