route 30 is operated by Stagecoach EL

Only one bus was involved. It was Stagecoach's 17758, worked on the 30 when
it was blasted apart. The bus was on a diversion following the terrorist attack
in the Underground network just before its demise, which explained why it was
around Russell Square. 2 persons were killed in the explosion.

Overall casualty of the attack so far is 37 fatality and over 700 injuries.

那不是最終數字的, 早前報導指那架躉是頂閘的, 所以
死亡數字是絕對有機會上升的.

不過, 巴士爆炸地點正正是英國醫學會門外, 所以爆炸
後不少傷者都立刻被搶救, 多少地降低了死亡人數; 另
一方面, 當時巴士司機剛巧落了車問路而逃過一劫, 這
兩點可謂不幸中之大幸.

有報導話架車其實只係得 20 人
又有話只係樓下企滿人....

Yes, the news so far has been mixed and confusing. 2 has been confirmed
dead so far in the bus blast, and that is the only fatality confirmed.

Today is a sad day for London, but I cannot help thinking we got away very
lightly. Look at Madrid. Given the scale of the attack today the casualty could,
and should, have been much much worse.

The emergency response have been very prompt, in fact there was no
complaint on the news said it all. They have been expecting that for so
many months and prepared for that, so it does not come as much of a
surprise for them.

Still, well done to all those involved in the rescue.
