好似係由 London Overground 接管兼延長既 East London Line
由港鐵伙同另一間英國公司成立既子公司贏得營運 / 管理權。
It is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Laing Rail (who sold its rail business to Deutsche Bahnand(German Company)in APR08) and MTR. The network was operated by silverlink Metro before, and when the East London Line reopen in 2010/2011, it will also be included in the London Overground network. And those new train for London Overgorund are the Class 378EMU

In my point of view, the London Underground is having "World class fare, third world system"! It is great that they start to upgarde their rolling stocks. But I hope that they can also put some effect ...

最記得去年十一月London Overground 接管Silver Links 時,
第一時間為大部分無閘機的站加裝新閘機同換貼紙/站牌。
之後至今都冇乜"德政"啦....
睇返Overground新車的3D圖,新車應該同現有Southern 新火車差不多,是嗎? |

都有超過一百年歷史,加上當年為縮皮,所有車站同隧道都起到好細、窄,
要升級有一定難度...
一般建築物預計壽命只不過120年左右,倫敦地鐵大部份服務路段、車站都差唔多了,
要考慮下重建的問題,無奈今時今日TfL窮到燶....... |
