Yes. the are in deed together.  One facing forward and one facing backward.

同埋ｄ冷氣又樓梯上面嗰舊物體generate?  ->  Yes bcos UK do not need such a heavy unit, like those in UK.  A light one will do the job here.  

唔怕ｄ人一上車就閂風口   But those uneducated pax will open the bloody window and say 'I want fresh air!!' anyway.  So its really pointless to have such things really.  Just enjoy the chill while the unit is still working.  Maybe next time this year, these units might just became some air blower..........  (Welcome to London.....)
