LDN- E400 Hybrid enters service

Hello,

On Friday, the first E400 hybrid d/d bus entered service on route 16; it is part of an order of 5 for Metroline and route 16.

Here is the bus today - at Shoot Up Hill.

The vehicle is very quiet and smooth to ride on.

only  one hybrid TE is running on 16  in this moment ?

yes, at the moment only one bus TEH917 runs in service on route 16; only a few drivers were type trained to drive it. But... all 5 TEHs [915-919] were delivered, and within a few weeks will all enter service on route 16.

as of yesterday, 4 TEHs are now in service on route 16. There are 22 buses on  Mon-Sat, 13 on Sunday- on route 16

大城市用Hybrid巴士係最簡單的做法，車型可以同先前相若，維修上又唔需太多額外資源。

咁就「不知不覺」達到環保!
