又係唔係代表香港行唔到12M三軸巴士?

15米呢個長度限制已經係好耐之前定落黎,
你要明白18米掛接唔等如18米直陣, 設計上令轉彎時同12米直陣差唔多,
比16米貨櫃車連拖架轉得更好.

總之一日未試車, 都唔可以話香港唔可以用掛接.

香港行掛摺就一定行到, 但車太長就衍生其他問題。

香港路口近, 燈口多, 仲要成日轉線
架車咁長佔用路面空間多, 好唔靈活

And? What are you trying to get to? We are talking about bendy buses here, sir, not Routemasters. And above all, we are talking about why, or why not, bendybus is a poor idea in HK.

The fact of the matter is bendybus will not work in HK, for all the reasons that has been ceded by many fellows here already, in the same way that bendybus, en masse, proved to be a poor idea in London. Yes, some of the cities in Britain are using bendybuses rather well, but name me a city which has a massive number of those? Not looking at the laws aside, in Hong Kong, bendybuses can't use that in Kowloon or HK Island because of constraints of road spaces, and they can, in theory, be used in some of the shorter residential services, but the number of buses needed is so small that the economy to support such an operation is simply not viable - You need space to keep the buses, you need drivers to be specifically trained for the type, you need to realign all the bus stops... and the list of issues goes on and on.

You might have spent too much time looking at buses in the UK and thought you know how things work, but you didn't, because you get bogged down to what you liked to see and not taking a step back to look at the bigger picture. You love Mercs, and other powerful buses, and good for you. Running buses is a lot more than that, and there are lots of broader issues to consider when the managers work out what may be the best fit to run the operation.

理論上北流水或者六號仔係可以用,不過前提係路上面只有一條四十五秒鐘一班的巴士線

in some sense可以慳車添。

香港的確有部分地方可以行掛接.....
但係適合ge地方實在太少la.......
唔乎合成本效益
