[LIV, UK] Tribute to Neoplan N4016s

The Neoplan N4016 is said to be the very first batch of low-floor single-deck city bus in the United Kingdom.  They built at Stuttgart, Germany.  It is a heavy duty single-decker with 12m long and 2.5m wide.  Only 12 were sold in UK and were new to Merseyside PTE in 1993-1994.  They later passed to MTL for use on mainly Croxteth Park services.  The batch was later owned by Arriva North West and were retired later 2008.  Reports said L409TKB has been sold to Ranat Valley and numbered 259.  It went into servces early February 2009.

Seen here is L403TKB, Arriva North West 6403, serving rt.18A, towards Paradise Street bus station, early 2004.

Shame to see them go, they are rather comfy buses.

雖然是九十年代初出品，但車身設計也很有時代感；
不過轉個角度想，就即是說，德國巴士的設計十多年也沒有大改變……
