This generation ROSA is running in 4200cc diesel engine in EURO-1 style.
But i heard from some drivers claiming this model of ROSA is very consuming the fuel,
using too much diesel to run everyday.
Most of the Mini-bus drivers in red colour hate to drive this generation of ROSA.
Finally, most of them have been sold out and changed into green colour Maxicab already. |

Rosa 在香港小巴市場佔有率確實低得很。數一數,好像只有藍田、葵涌華景山莊、黃埔及AMS路線有Rosa服務。 |

It is very nice to share the opinion with you of MITSUBISHI ROSA, and i still remember that there were EM1636 & DZ7753 in green colour at 藍田 before.
However, EM1636 have been changing to TOYOTA COASTER 5LS-1 already at around 2004. And not quite sure where is DZ7753 now, may be retired.
Another one i remember is GR5940 which was in red colour running between JORDAN ROAD & KWAI CHUNG, but i heard from the friend of red mini-bus
driver that GR5940 retired at 2001 already, very quick to retire because 'GR' was produced by MITSUBISHI at the end of 1995, that means the age of
this GR5940 just from 1995 to 2001 only, too short in her life. I think may be they hate the ROSA to eat too much in diesel as 4200cc. |

Talking about Rosas, what was the last time you see the really really old ones. You know, the ones that have tail lights right under the windows on the rear end, and that the overall shape is slightly rounded. Ring any bells?
I reckon they're manufactured in early 80's and i haven't seen one around for the past 8 yrs... |

Hi, Luca! That one you mention which is slightly rounded during 80's is the first generation ROSA in Hong Kong. Their interior is in green colour and
green seats also is the first generation air-conditioned mini-bus in HONG KONG. The glass of their passengers door was also printed white english
words 'AUTO DOOR'. which also is the first HONG KONG mini-bus to use electrical door.
During 2001, there was one of them which was in red colour of such classical model is BB2322 running between KWUN TONG & MONG KOK.
BUT, she retired and now is a TOYOTA COASTER LPG 5LS-1. |
