[倫敦]請問為睇巴士而到倫敦旅遊

十月我會放大假.....哈哈......而家諗緊好唔好同女友去倫敦玩
為0既其中一個重點係仍然服役0既ROUTEMASTER，其實0係今年年尾後仍有機會
坐佢服役嗎?
十月有冇BUS RALLY? 遊客可join 嗎?
自由行難度高嗎? 因為若果真係要為巴士而0黎，跟團係冇可能配合到
除0左有個好出名0既london bus museum 之外，還有其他bus museum 嗎?
唔計買野，要預幾錢一個人度呢?
我預算有12日，除左玩倫敦，可以去埋法國嗎? 又或者有冇行程好介紹? 好等我有巴士睇之餘，女友都可以有0的收獲。

Yes, given the 159, which will be the last route to lose its Routemasters,
is not due for opo conversion until 10 Dec. The 13 and 38 shall still be
Routemaster operated until late October.

No. The rally season is effectively finished after Showbus, which is in mid-Sep.

No, London is quite navigable as long as you know how to read the Tube Map,
and willing to use the London Underground.

There is no London Bus Museum, but a London Transport Museum in Covent
Garden. Otherwise, this is the only one in London.

Unless you are prepared to stay in youth hostel, you will be looking at around
$800 per head per day to cover accomodation, travel and catering, typically.
That exclude expenses such as shopping, museum entrance fee etc.

You should have more then enough time to go to Paris in my opinion.

No offence intended though, I hope you are not serious in saying your trip to
London just to look at buses. For starter it's a long way out, not to mention
the rather hefty expense you need over the week or so. Realistically you won't
be able to go much further than Central London, and you may not find as much
to see as you would liked, which is the case in London nowadays.

淨住+食野$800日就誇D,
不過London d Youth hostel係我住過之城市中(包括瑞士/東京/紐約)還貴~
就連愛丁堡YH都比倫敦YH平近4成~

另London Bus Day pass 都係2.5傍(宜家好似加咗...)
就可以全London bus全區任搭(如果加埋地鐵/近郊火車任搭)當然更貴....
不過由希思路出市區過日少不免要搭佢....

除佐影ROUTEMASTER,香港人去到一定被"前中巴部隊"撞見你#
再加埋d"前城巴部隊",又或你鍾意睇波想去看看各主場,
好似阿仙奴主場高貝利球場明年就拆...

返而間LT博物館又細又窄,我建議你不如Plan去牛津過AEC博物館,
順便探探九記架80K@A165#

最後,以上行程可能係"不適合女朋友觀看"#

A: Go and buy the Eurostar advance ticket or the youth Euro Railcard.

倫敦BUSPASS三磅一日,
可以搭到第朝四點,
倫敦巴士站都有地圖顯示附近站位,街道,
同埋前往目的地....
而且車站夠密,
要揾車站易過香港,
所以一定唔會有問題...

既然有咁多日,
不如揾日去Oxford,
搭下個批Oxford Tube Neoplan.

The one in Acton (The Depot) is still LTM mate. As pointed out by SB, it
has specific open days only. You will have to check with LTM for info.

To eveyone planning to visit London's Transport Museum (the one at Covent Garden), it will be closed for massive refurbishment from early September 2005 until early 2007 and the temporary shop will be located at Unit 26 in the Piazza.  

According to the staff at the shop, it will be just across the pavement of the current entrance and should be very easy to find.

For anyone who would like to enjoy their stay in London and anywhere in the UK, please check out the budget hotels as they offer fantastic price, they charge as low as 26 pounds per room per night (not per person!!!), subject to availability of course.  From personal experience they are much much better and cheaper than some youth hostels and bed and breakfast.

經過詳細及慎重0既考慮，決定放棄去英國.....唉....
同巴士迷去似乎合適過同女友去

而家考慮緊澳洲，玩0既野多0的，又有前中巴睇....
