[Official] First A380 Flight between Hong Kong and Singapore on 9Jul 2009!

I sure someone here have already posted before for this news, here comes the official announcement for SIA:

On 9 July 2009, Singapore Airlines becomes the first airline to operate the world's largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, from Hong Kong.

To celebrate the introduction of daily A380 services, we have released some amazing fares so that you can be amongst the first to make history.

The above highlighted in red is quoted from SIA e-newsletter.

The price will range from HK$1,375-22,375, and SQ 861 and 856 were selected to fly with A380.

Well...
Really want to know Cathay will do what to resist the A380 ~

But the newest aircraft in CX is B777-300ER (The A380 is replace the B777-300ER of SQ861)
It seems that Cathay doesn't have any method to withstand SQ

SQ flights are always fully booked so that incorporating A380 is for accomodate the actual passenger requirement.
