Although based on Ireland (the island, not the country), Wrightbus took a long time - over 6 years in fact - to notch up sales of its double deck Gemini bodywork anywhere on the island. Since then though, it has made significant breakthrough and manage to secure orders from all major operators there. One of the more recent, but most significant customer, is arguably Dublin Bus, who took 50 over the turn of 2008 and 2009:

13 of these are fitted with luggage rack for use on the Airlink services 747 and 748, although they must hold the title of one of the least luxurious airport buses in the world:

Wrightbus took a different approach to satisfy Dublin Bus requirement on a more inclined windscreen to counter reflections on drivers to ADL - Wrightbus only moved the windscreen slightly inward, nstead of extending the front lower deck like the E400s, which help preserving its look.

The last of this batch, VG50, entered service in Apr 2009.

However, Dublin Bus is not the only operator operating B9TL/Geminis in the Irish capital, as Bus Eireann also have a few as well:
