R19係Tyne and Wear其中一條由NEXUS
招標的重點路線,
連接Pamlersville輕鐵站與North Shield過江碼頭,
途經新建的商業區.
由Go Northeast投得,
並派走五部Scania L94巴士,
全部油上路線宣傳既廣告,
日間每三個字一班車(半個鐘一班至過江碼頭),
而往來過江碼頭既班次都就住渡輪班次.
由於其中部份路段,
係Guided Bus way,
所以巴士裝有小 車鹿 ,
不過條Busway就認真無乜實際作用啦....
不過個廣告就認真搶眼...
如果香港巴士公司可以學下呢種路線宣傳既方法,
對提高路線知名度都幾有幫助.
May I say it is an eye-catching branding?
The R19 runs from North Shield Ferry landing
to Pamlersville Metro Station which is one
of the high profile route setup by NEXUS
in the Tyne and Wear. (Area around
Newcastle)
The arrival and departure time to/from the
ferry landing are matched to the ferry schedule,
which never happen in Hong Kong except
for the Lantau Bus.
Some sections of the routes are Guided-bus way,
so the buses ae equipped with the 'small wheel',
but just cannot understand how 'useful' the bus way is.

Route Branding 已經不是新鮮事, 問題是巴士公司用 "跳飛機" 的營運安排....
好似新巴15 號的 Route Branding 咁, 如果架車唔係日日行15, 會招致乘客投訴!!
"Route Branding" is NOT a new idea of promotion,... the question is:
if the bus carrying the route branding but not running on the corresponding route at all time, it would attract complain!!

But most of the route-branding of KMB
are not as eye-catching and attractive as
the British ones.
More innvoative designs can catch
the sight of passengers more easily!  |
