Hope I am posting at the right forum. At the time of visit, both HK trams were sitting in the depot. Hopefully they will be out for the open day later this year. |

Was that Birkenhead #20 that picked you up then?
I went there in Nov 2008 and I could ride on #69. Usually only one of the three trams (Birkenhead #20,
Hong Kong made #69, #70) will be out for picking up visitors during the opening time.

I think you're quite lucky then...It seems that Liverpool #762 doesn't usually come out for
passenger service.
The Hong Kong made #69/#70 are purchased by the museum mainly for pick-up service
so that the preserved British trams can be kept inside the museum in better shape.
P.S. Did you see the Fleetline with VRT engine cover in the museum? |
