我成日諗...雖然6BT 有Turbo je...
但有乜可能一架Full load 過10噸ge 巴士....
用副5.5噸貨車同級ge Engine 呢. ...

我問返一D 師兄...終於知道個答案了....
原來6BT 得12Valve....細Turbo....所以咁...
好彩而家改左做24valve 同大Turbo ge ISBe ...
所以勁返..... |

引擎容積越大.....耗油量當然多D la...
而且個低轉ge 扭力應該有返咁上下的....
但而家技術好左....唔需要容積大都有大馬力 , 大扭力....
所以巴士公司會選用細容積但有大馬力 , 大扭力ge 車....
盡量減低個耗油量....

That is not an absolute case at all.
Putting a turbo on a smaller engine is not a miracle cure - it uses just as much, or in some cases, more fuel to drive the turbo, and most importantly the power/torque doesn't kick in as quickly because of turbo lag. Another example I can think of is Volvo'd D9B-260 engine. It powers the 2-axle B9TL and returns (from what I read) around 6 miles per gallon (~0.45L/km) on fuel consumption whilst the 6-cylinder ISBe enginer, with 2/3 the capacity and powering the lighter E400, returns just 4 mpg (~0.7L/km).
Large engines can achieve better fuel economy by simily derating it to a lower power output, and that is the approach which Mercedes Benz, MAN and the old Gardner take. To put it into perspective, the good old Gardner 6LXB engine, at 11L, on an Olympian or Metrobus is capable of a fuel consumption figure of around 9mpg (0.3L/km). |

一部跑車有300匹HP
勝利二型拖車可以輕易拖走部300匹既跑車,
你估部300匹既跑車可唔可以拖郁部勝利二型拖車?
