呢部ECW車身既利蘭睇上去同當年九巴既3BL1極為相似,聽講部車來港之後,從未行走過。
小弟只知當時部車編號是LL1,但對其他資料並不清楚,希望各位師兄能協助解答。 |

原來頭指揮燈係用titan 的大燈, 唔係3BL1的MCW燈
不過中巴色好似冇來到HK, 係在英國已改埋CTB coach 樣 |

呢部原中巴12米蘭係當時英國利蘭車廠剛完成12M巴士研究而製造出黎既
總共有2架,當時利蘭諗住各比一架九巴同中巴做測試
但係只有九巴接收左,中巴就因為某d原因堅決唔要(因為面子問題?已經訂左大批ML?但係DL佢又有收......)
於是利蘭就係迫於無奈之下將架車改裝
幫佢加裝獨立空調系統(要獨立引擎驅動),將原先既頭幅拆除,換左個冷氣頭幅,加裝冷氣槽,密封窗口
之後就賣左比城巴,成為C51(即後來既102)
所以102既車窗同高度都有別於103-105,車窗亦都係圓角,而唔係103-105既方角窗
所以LL1即係102,不過究竟係咪真係有LL1呢個車隊編號?我從來未聽過既...

was tht becoz LX accident so CMB didnt purchase any Leyland product in late 80's - early 90's ? |

No, Leyland trying to push customer to use TL11 engine, including CMB, that is why CMB didn't take the bus. According to my friend who works in ECW. |

kmb's 3BL1 was fitted with TL11 engine? TL11 engine seems not having enough power to operate a 12m bus.
