Is it retired and preserved?

Good to hear this legendary bus of the Midlands being preserved! SO what about the other ones? Scrapped i suppose?

Some lucky ones may be bought by other smaller companies and continue their lives, while others will
turn out to be in scrap yards.

Will the upper left windscreen be replaced by an original one?
3053 lost its small movable window on the left in late 2008...

First step of the preservation project was to replace the original windows on the near side front upper deck and the near side lower deck.

Found a decent garage to do the MOT yet?

Work in Progress, now with the advertising frame removed, showing the old Travel West Midland grey underneath.

A short visit back home on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
