Hey hey !!! Yes ! Route 555 service is not satisfactory coz the drivers seem not to follow the bus timetable and usually i need to wait a long time for a 555 bus !!!
and from day to night many people still in the city so I buy your suggestion to improve 555 to 24 hr service !!!

There is no need for 555 to use double deck .
Also, get the buses in CBD Free of Charge instead of spending more $$ on this money losing government..running more buses, paying $$ for more drivers..

而家果 150 部新掛接都唔係 Custom Coaches 啦,咁點解一定要係 CC 呢?
人地 Volgren 都係因為呢張單先在 NSW 開廠喳。

你要所有付費正規巴士在 CITY 內免費,在技術上根本就不可行。Inbound 巴士就話容易姐,咁我想問啲 Outbound 巴士點算呀?你啲 Outbound 巴士一去到某個站劃條線叫人出來比錢,啲人又在個站度等,啲巴士上乘客一見到個站即刻全部衝上去俾錢,咁架巴士在個站要搞幾耐先開呢?(你要記住成個 CITY 由南到北係有 2 個 Sections 㗎,有啲站你去 CQY 同 Central 搭係差一個 Fare Stage 㗎。
仲有而家 STA 玩 Prepay 都已經有一大批人搭巴士唔俾錢啦,你仲要 CBD All Free 的話咁你想到時十個客九個唔俾錢呀 (你要記住 STA 係無可能請咁多 Transit Officer 去查哂啲人的飛架)
到時 STA 咪蝕到呀媽都唔認得?
所以唔係劃唔劃 Free Zone 的問題,如果係得的話就唔會囉 6 部巴士咁行法啦。所以實在必須加開更多 555 巴士服務。
長遠計,悉尼市中心內的交通應由電車負責,巴士應由城市邊陲開出直達目的地,或改行 Motorway/Cross City Tunnel 繞過市中心,減少擠塞。 |

Please compare the running cost of 555 per bus and the people who not buying ticket
Examples:
100 litres of diesels per bus per day
8 hours of drivers pay at least
Superannuations
Maintances cost of the bus
Promotions of the services( I've just got a copy of 555 route map in an expo in Singapore)
Decals of the buses
taking buses out into City when there is enough bus services in City, while outside the City suffereing vehicle shortages (especially wheelchair buses)
Delaying other route services while loading at the bus stops.
Fare Free Zone is already working in Perth, and I think in Brisbane as well |

There are only two free loop service in brisbane(one is downtown loop, the other one is spring hill loop) and there are no fare free zone. Downtown loop is a free bus service just like 555 in sydney, but obviously, the 'loop' is more smaller than the one in sydney. But i have to say the fare zone in brisbane is quite nice, simple and user-friendly |

我覺得唔係因為某張單而特登開個廠囉,
最多只可以話係其中一個原因令Volgren認為值得投資落去囉...
如果只係因為sta和cdc兩張加埋最多只有400架車左右就開成條生產線,
未免太過樂觀喇掛...
其實Volgren o係NSW開廠某程度上係政治原因,
因為某公司買車時通常都會傾向買NSW內製的,
來製造NSW就業機會, 再加上本身CC都已經多單到無得再多,
Volgren加入只係提供用家多個選擇同埋整體產量. |

所以我都話, 在商言商, 為左150架車開一個廠。咁係咪交哂呢150架車就收埋間廠?!
VOLGREN喺NSW開廠, 係想幫自己提高產量。(單單係QLD果邊, 都已經好可觀!)
PS: 成日睇見VOLGREN廠,都砌緊BT同CDC D車! 睇到悶......
