[SYD] 先購票，後上車，否則司機踢你落車

長久以來，悉尼的巴士一向可在車上購票的，不過這個購票程序需時極長，在市中心的巴士站若遇上大量乘客上車後方購票的話，後果不堪設想。(小弟就曾經試過搭上一架由 Manly 開出的 143 號巴士由於車上除小弟及另一乘客外，其餘六十位乘客全部上車後用現金購票，結果要在總站等候 15 分鐘方可開車。)

有見及此，悉尼巴士公司在三年前在 333 號巴士採用預先購票政策，未持有預售車票的乘客一律佢載，乘客上車後必需把車票插入綠色的驗票機內查驗，未持有有效車票的乘客將會被科以罰款處分。

有見此計劃不但在乘客歡迎度及維持巴士準時上獲得空前成功，在 2007 年尾至 2008 年期間已為旗下所有繁時特快線巴士上停售車票，並要求乘客必須持有預售車票方可乘搭。

由上年起，悉尼巴士公司更開始陸續在主要巴士站及總站*推出預繳服務，在星期一至星期五每日上午七時至下午七時期間，乘客必須先購買車票方能在這等巴士站上車，否則司機將即時拒載有關乘客。

主要巴士站及總站*:
Sydney CBD, Bondi Junction, Chatswood, Neutral Bay Junction, Spit Junction...

今年開始，有關計劃已全面擴展至悉尼市中心範圍。
故若有板友欲前往悉尼自由行的話，必須注意有關事項，否則你可能因拒載而浪費時間等候下一班車。

你可在落機後即時前往抵達大堂的士多購買巴士車票 (TravelTen/BusTripper) 或巴士渡輪火車聯合票 (TravelPass/DayTripper)，事乎閣下需要而定。

搭巴士平價由機場往市區方法：

Airport > 400 (Bondi Jn Direction) > UNSW > 895 > Central (Eddy Avenue)
Airport > 400 (Bondi Jn Direction) > Kingsford > X92/X94/X96/X97/X99 > CITY - Martin Place/St. James/Museum Station
Airport > 400 (Bondi Jn Direction) > UNSW > 10 > CITY - Chinatown
Fare: $7.40
Train Fare: $13.00+

呢款巴士不但車廂比部份冷氣巴士靜，座椅全用深紅色花紋，給人一種高貴的感覺。
好可惜這款巴士已經陸續退役了。
悉尼巴士公司實絕不應在新 Volvo B12BLEA 掛接巴士投入服務前巴所有 O305 掛接退役，大家看圖所見在市區已經要頂閘上橋，仲要有乘客未能上車，那麼若這些巴士退役又無新掛接取代的話，你想乘客投訴苦候多班巴士還未能上車？

Don't you remember that both trains and buses are operated by the GOV'T, the Monopoly !!!!!!! it's like that ka la !~ Accept it Australian !!~

就算係轉400都係搭到去rockdale轉火車啦, 平d又方便d

And the fare system is complicated too! I never see so many types of tickets before: Single pre-pay ticket covered different sections, different type of travel ten covered different sections, different travel passes covered different zones etc. (You need to keep swaping with different kinds of ticket each time to travel, especially tansfer from one bus to another bus, train or ferry. Since they are all made in paper, it is also environmental unfriendly! I have thrown away countness of used tickets since I study in Sydney.)

Although day ticket or weekly travel passes are much more convenience but it is not wise to buy those tickets if the total fare is less than the value of those tickets. So you are still end up to keep swaping between tickets!

The most set-back point of their ticketing system is its rigidity. I guess they are lazy to count the travel distance by counting number of bus stops like Singapore! That stupid, rigid section-based fare system somehow "force" you to underpay your fare! (Of course it is not the right act!)

They really should find a solution to make the fare system more flexible and also less complicated!

Well for travel to CBD in Sydney, the bus service is still relatively acceptable (in weekday, not weekend!). But bus srevices travel across suburbs, terrible!
