5月, 學期尾, WESSEX CONNECT開始佈署, 先接辦了20A/C, 同時間開辦U18,
為打入University of Bath 的巴士服務起了一個不俗得頭.

正式既戰幔終於在今個學期展開.
First的陣容, 除了沒有了10151-10153外, 字軌車大致上一樣.
反而Wessex Connect在試辦成功後, 動作頗不少...

話說小弟頭一天回來, 半睡半醒之際, 發覺D車既車牌好似唔多妥咁..
睇真D...

雖然係同一批車, 但竟然有心到換晒University Of Bath (UOB)車牌
忽然間, 見到部純藍色的..
A9UOB

睇一睇個車尾, 先知唔係B7RLE, 唔知邊到搵部B7L返來呢...仲未上好晒色就已經換左車牌..
仲有佢..
N815WGR

又係未攪好晒, 甚至連車牌都未換好...
不過整部咁既野返來, 成為U18唯一一部非低地台車..
暫時戰況:
銷售情況: 兩者分別不是太大, 暫時可以算是六四, 不過是藍六橙四. First主要輸在Lower Oldfield Park 及Campus..
PR情況: First 慘敗--- SU終於踢爆First夾硬將410改名做11是有陰謀...班班11都係20A/C到之前一分鐘開, 連路線都要一樣...最攪笑係
local council竟然批埋funding俾佢地...好彩Uni醒目唔俾佢條線入Uni, 所以急急腳煞停...當初又係first唔做20A/20C, SU點叫佢地都唔肯先有WC..
今次真係抵死..
加埋FIRST大CUT班, 唔知會唔會再有線俾WC拎來做呢?

近來First Potteries的25號線來了批MX05的Wright Volvo單層
有冇人知佢來頭

My interpretation is not good therefore I have quote this from Wikipedia
Volvo B7L is a low floor citybus with a rear engine mounted on the left of the rear overhang, it is built as a replacement of the Volvo B10L. It is a bit similar to B10L in design, both featuring a side-mounted engine. But the engine of B7L is Volvo D7C, which is mounted vertically, in comparison with horizontally-mounted Volvo DH10/GH10 engine in B10L; besides, the radiator is mounted above the engine instead of the right hand side, thus the rear door can be located as rearward as possible.

The B7RLE's D7C engine is a 6-cylinder, 7-litre diesel engine with a turbocharger and intercooler, which produces 290bhp and meets the Euro 3 incentive emission standard. Later Volvo D7E engine, which meets the Euro 4/Euro 5 incentive emission standards, replaced the D7C as standard. Unlike the B7L, the B7RLE's engine is mounted at the middle of the rear overhang as opposed to the left, the result is a full rear row of 5 seats and a full width window (rather than 3 rear seats and part of the rear window as on the B7L).

WC好多車都係ex-London既車,好似今日見到1架T156牌既Dart仔,內面仲貼住tfl既passenger notice |
