東行離開金鐘站後於分域碼頭街轉向北,之後與沙中線平行至會展站
北港島線月台深度將等於現時金鐘站上層月台 (即-7.24米),
由1-4號月台可乘電梯上現有大堂,再乘電梯落北港島線月台 (共走2-3條電梯);
由沙中線月台則可途經未來中層大堂,再乘電梯上北港島線月台 (共走2條電梯)
壞處:
1) 北港島線月台施工期間,金鐘站對出的夏愨道需封閉部分行車線;
2) 成本比添馬站方案高
好處:
1) 一站匯聚東涌線、港島線、荃灣線、沙中線和南港島線,成為鐵路交通樞紐,
產生協同效益,例如增加東涌線和西鐵線的客量;
2) 高鐵旅客可直接乘東涌線到金鐘站轉乘南港島線,大幅強化作為旅遊區港島南區的交通;
3) 中環新填海區發展密度低,添馬站使用量將不足,
再加上中環新海濱只距現時金鐘站320-350米,可更善用金鐘站;
4) 現有香港站至中環站之轉車通道可變成非收費區,改建作地下購物街
Q & A:
Q. 地下管道穿過/經過大會堂影響地基
A. The route is rather flexible as there is plenty of buffer that allow the curve to start earlier to make the tunnel not "touching" the City Hall. I just want to give an idea on how the route can be placed. The actual route can vary from the one I suggested.
Q. 造成金鐘站人流過多
A. Improvement work to the existing concourse is necessary to accomodate the extra flow, but the extra pressure is not significant as strategies could be made to divert the flow away from the existing concourse by making better use of the new concourse under the existing lower platform.
Passengers from the East Rail Line/South Island Line/north bound Tsuen Wan Line/west bound Island Line will use the new concourse under the existing lower platform for changing to Tung Chung Line.
Only those from the west bound Tsuen Wan Line/East bound Island Line will use the existing concourse for changing to Tung Chung Line.

A. Numerous exits can be built on the north side of Harcourt Road and connected to the walkway network of the network
Q. 如果東涌線在金鐘設站,那麼會展站就不一定要兩線交匯了
A. Tung Chung Line is still necessary to meet East Rail Line at Exhibition Station.
The purpose of Exhibition Station interchange is to allow East Rail passengers to go to Eastern District quicker, and this can relieve some pressure off Admiralty Station.
Q. 海富中心對出設站...地底空間足夠嘛?
A. The new underground platform will occupy part of the Harcourt Road.
Q. 不如係添馬同金鐘站之間另建管道更划算啦
A. The new Gov House is located between Tamar Station and Admiralty Station. There are safety issues to locate a station below it and the interchange distance would be much longer. So, the only possible location of the station is below Harcourt Road.

北港島綫唔係停「添馬」站咩???點解要改經金鐘站,我諗好似香港/中環站,定係好似尖東/尖沙咀站,咁搞都已經可以做到好多綫融匯

Well, I appreciate your design. However, how can you deal with the problem of AEL may go to the EXH which it may not allow to have turning to much and it is difficult to built a side track for the AEL.

夏愨道車流將大大減少
相信封閉夏愨道金鐘站對出部分行車線並非洪水猛獸,
需封閉之行車線其實只令夏愨道不能經紅綿路進入金鐘道,
對夏愨道東西行車流及進入紅綿路天橋並冇影響 |

如果要AEL咁轉來轉去有問題 |

咁你都識講,AEL延長去會展只係民間揣測,我自己都建議過AEL延長,
但以往北港島線以至沙中線規劃入面,從來冇提及過或者暗示有預留位。
即使真係延長,咪短暫「分家」囉,反正同唔同路都要係四軌架啦。 |
