LDN: the latest E400 trident

Here is TE978 from Metroline, part of the Delgro group in Singapore.

It is so new and shiny that it reflects the trees and sky!

It that a new standard livery of Metroline ?

Simply 100% red without the blue "skirt" ?

is the front acel use te new parts ?
seems not the one by Dana or ZF

Metroline decided to cut costs by removing the blue band; it cost money to repaint the blue band each time panels were repaired or replaced.

the new front is now standard for all new E400s delivered to London. no idea why?

yes, the bus is 10.1m long.
the longer version -10.7 or 10.8m long is not common in London- only east London has a batch.

Now only the fleetnames are in another colour other than red.  I doubt that casual Londoners would notice there are various operators amongst them.

This is true! most passengers do not really know who is the operator of their bus routes. 20 years after London Buses ceased to exist, many still think that because the buses are red, they 'belong to' or 'operated by' London Buses.
