RTC has ordered 50 Wright Streetcar RTVs and numbered them from A011 to A060. Those streetcars will be used on five ACE lines which are gold, blue, green, express C, and express W. The first ACE line, gold, is planned to be opened on March 2010, providing limited stop service from downtown to SSTT via the strip (map). Driver's training is under way to let drivers get used to the new buses, and here are some pics of A023 and A027 in DTC.

All streetcars are powered by diesel-electric parallel hybrid with a length of 62ft , and the chassis is provided from Hess. All vehicles are belonged to the new Sunset yard together with the Super Deuce, and these streetcars can be only operated by assigned personnel which does not include RTC mechanics and other bus drivers. Only manufacturer, bus cleaners, BRT drivers, and instructors are allowed to move them before the openning of the first ACE line.
After the implement of the ACE gold line, there will be a great change in service for The Deuce in order to provide a better service along the hotel area.
Plus some shots at night

Thanks for watching

Yes. I agree too, especially when comparing with the Irisbus you showed in the post. That bus can only go up to 40mph, and the ride quality is not good too (in my opinion) |

Both are articulated buses; the streetcar design is intended to give the impression that this is a tram and not a bus. of course it does not fool anybody!
