I reckon you mean the Versa, but that is not all that relevant anyway. I think that the market of that size of buses in the UK, except London anyway, has pretty much evaporated these days.
The Solo range, from the shortest 7.1m SE to the longest 10.2m, sits very nicely at the soft spot of the UK minibus/midibus market. That spot was previously occupied by the standard floor Dart, but as the latter went low floor, the range evolved to a larger and heavier bus, thus allowing Solo to capitalise the gap that was left behind. This gave the Solo a footfold to the market where it expanded to eventually dominate the low end of the midibus market.
The Primo/Plasma is an interesting design, but from what I have read, it is less reliable than the Solo (it's direct competitor) and ADL, since taking over Plaxton, has been doing some work to address the problem. Still, with just the 7.8m version offered, it means you ended up having to order another type of bus (e.g. E200Dart/SB180) if you want to get a bigger one. With the Solo, you simply don't have to worry about that.
F-15E: If KMB want a bus to do that, best thing to do is get a 9.2m E200Dart with the 6-cylinder !SBe engine. I think the Primo is too small to be useful in HK.
