[UK] London Big Bus tri-axle Optare Volvo B9TL

Any idea how many of these are Big Bus getting?

They must be doing really well with their business, since they are now investing heavily on new vehicles, unlike years ago when they were acquiring mainly ex-HK double deckers.

I gather there are about 6-8. Will be visting London next week and it is one of the top of my hit list.

I hope this combination of B9 can exist in HK~

3ASV3, i think they are replacing the MLs

There are no more MLs at Big bus since last year...

No. The MLs were replaced by the two axle B9TLs bought last year.

These tri-axles are expected to replace some of the ex-S3BL, specifically the (HK) DW-reg batch that came in 3 years ago.

their fleet number are from DA321 to 326(328)....(i haven't see 327/328 at these few day )

How come the S3BL retire so early? Are they going to scrap or somewhere else in otherside of the world?

Such a big bus only have one door, thats a bit weird for this popular services

我記得我當年o係倫敦時, DL/S3BL就算有中門佢地都唔開

How about the ex-DLs? Are they gone together with the MLs??
seems Arriva TOLST is still happy with those MLs, any plan for vehicle replacement?
