No, this is one of the ports of transit - The other one I know of is Fleetwood, a few miles north of Blackpool. But so far I think those spotted (apart from AVBWU1 which nobody seemed to have observed) all went through Heysham, so I assume that is the main transiting port.

That Citybus B9TL, when it is completed, and other AVBWUs should turn up at either of the ports before they get driven down to Southampton. However this is based on observation so far, and I do not rule out there are other ports to be used for transition...

The one with route 37 on was driven down on the M6 last night, it carried a trade plate and I was following it from Junction 13 and then it left Junction 4 to join the M42 southbound. This was midnight 06 April so it should be in Southampton now. Top speed of the bus was only 47mph even on the down hill section.

Or you might be able to chase up with SBS Transit unit...

Aren't the SBS Transit ones in CKD form?
